Does the truth matter in 2016 America? From the NFL’s Deflate-gate to the Wells Fargo cross-selling saga, not to mention the Presidential election campaign, speaking the truth seems to now be a low value commodity. Or is it?

On, Wednesday, Oct. 19, the Greenwich Leadership Forum (GLF) will explore this new reality and the idea that ethical business leaders can make a difference in their organizations and industries. In addition to discussing “To Tell the Truth?,” the forum will introduce its new theme for the season, “Living Out Your Values”

GLF Moderator David Miller will lead the audience in a teaching session on “Truth Telling,” which will include some nuggets from 2016 on ethics and leadership. David is the Director of the Princeton University Faith & Work Initiative where his signature course is “Business Ethics: Succeeding without Selling Your Soul.” David brings an unusual “bilingual” perspective to the academic world, having spent 16 years in senior executive positions in international business and finance. After his corporate experience, he entered academia, receiving his M.Div. and a Ph.D. in ethics from Princeton Theological Seminary.

The forum will be held at 6 p.m. at “The Loft” on the Christ Church Greenwich campus located at 254 East Putnam Ave. Refreshments will be available. For more details, visit greenwichleadershipforum.org
