League of Women Voters to Hold October Candidate Debates

The League of Women Voters of Greenwich (LWVG) will hold two local candidate debates at Greenwich Town Hall Meeting Room on Thursday, Oct. 13. The League’s goal in sponsoring these debates is to help voters make informed decisions at the polls on Election Day. This event is free and all are welcome to attend.

The first debate of the evening will be between candidates for the 151st Assembly District. Fred Camillo, the Republican incumbent, will debate Dita Bhargava, the Democratic challenger. The debate will be from 7 to 8 p.m.

The second debate of the evening will be between candidates for the 36th Senate District. Scott Frantz, the Republican incumbent, will debate John Blankley, the Democratic challenger. This debate is scheduled for 8:10 to 9:10 p.m.

Jean Rabinow of the Bridgeport Area League will moderate.
