Whether Paddington has a headache or Elmo’s caught a cold, doctors, nurses, clinicians and other hospital staff will be on hand to treat children’s favorite toys at Greenwich Hospital’s 18th annual Teddy Bear Clinic on Sunday, Oct. 2 from 12 to 3 p.m.

The festivities will be held rain or shine at the building parking lot at 49 Lake Ave., behind the hospital. The hospital-under-a-tent is a great way for children ages three to 12 to learn about hospital services – from the operating room and emergency department to diagnostic imaging and nutrition – in a family-friendly environment. The free event includes appearances by mascot Dr. Ted E. Bear, a tour of an ambulance, giveaways and healthy snacks.
