Recital to benefit Greenwich Symphony

On Friday, June 24, French horn player Peter Reit and harpist Alyssa Reit will appear in a performance for the benefit of the Greenwich Symphony endowment fund. Mr. Reit is Principal Horn player with the Greenwich Symphony, the Westchester Philharmonic and the Scandia Symphony Orchestra. He is an independent performer, composer and arranger. The program will feature music by Ravel, Delibes, Bach, Reit, and Villa Lobos, and folk music from Armenia and the British Isles.

The recital takes place at the Bruce Museum. The museum galleries will be open for viewing from 6 to 7 p.m. including the current exhibit “Electric Paris.” The music will commence at 7 p.m., followed by a reception with the musicians. There is a suggested donation of $40 per person.
