Greenwich Was Cooking its Buns Off During Annual 3-Mile Run

Members of the running community traveled to Tod’s Point last week for the annual Whole Foods Cook Your Buns three-mile run and one-mile kids run.

The event, which took place last Friday, featured a hot dog, hamburger, veggie burger, salad and watermelon BBQ, courtesy of Whole Foods Market.

The overall winner was Stamford resident Chris Nocera, as the 31-year-old crossed the finish line with a time of 15:44.

The quickest Greenwich resident wasn’t far behind the leader, as 14-year-old Alexander Kosyakov placed second overall with a time of 117:11.
