Greenwich Girls Golf Unloads on Falcons at The Griff

On a gorgeous Thursday afternoon at the Griffith E. Harris Golf Course, the Greenwich High School girls golf team won its home opener by blasting Fairfield Ludlowe 177-234.

On a par 37 nine-hole course, Big Red was led by Catherine McEvoy, who carded an even 37 on the day.

Not to be outdone was Ashley Feighery, who took home a 8-over par 45. Teammate Gracie Sunoo  ended the day a 10-over par 47 and Tess Lamhaouar rounded things out for the Cards shooting a 11-over par 48.

For Ludlowe, Katie Chan carded a 53 on the day while Phoebe Burtt took home a 56. Nicole Biloto shot a 59 and Charlotte Buggy fired a 66.

With the win, Greenwich High improved to a perfect 4-0 on the season. Fairfield Ludlowe fell to 0-2 this season.
