The Annual Greenwich Kite Flying Festival will be held once again this spring at Greenwich Point Beach on Saturday, April 30, 11 a.m. The Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation will co-host this year’s festival.
Kite Flying is intended purely for fun and to celebrate the start of the spring season. Participants need only bring a kite to fly. The more creative, fun, and colorful the kite, the better. All kite fliers will be recognized with a participation ribbon.
The rain date is Sunday, May 1 at 12 p.m. For rain date information, please call 203-861-6100.
