Greenwich Girls Lacrosse Wins Overtime Thriller vs. Wilton

The Greenwich High School girls lacrosse team won a nail-biter against Wilton High School Saturday afternoon, coming away with the thrilling 11-10 overtime win.

Big Red held a 8-6 lead at the break and were outscore 4-2 in the second to knot the score at 10-10 heading into overtime.

For the Cardinals, no one had a better day than Paige Mautner, who finished with six goals on the day. Genevieve DeWinter added three goals and the trio of Maggie O’Gorman, Erika Bloes and Kathryn Harford rounded out the scoring with a goal apiece.

Romy Villemure pitched in with two assists, while Caroline Schultz made one save in net and Kathryn Crouchley added three for the Lady Cardinals.
