The town of Greenwich was represented during the 2016 ASICS Easter Bowl, which took place from April 2-10 at Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, Calif.

Cos Cob junior tennis player, Evan Lee, finished second in the Boys 12’s Doubles Division, along with his partner Andrew Chang of Trophy Club, Texas.

The team of Lee and Chung were defeated in the final round by Eli Gordon (Highland Park, Ill.) and Samuel Landau (Los Angeles, Calif.) 9-7.

The Easter Bowl is considered the Super Bowl of junior tennis, where America’s future stars, the top junior tennis players, come to play. Almost every American tennis great has played in the Easter Bowl including Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors, Lindsay Davenport and current top 100 players John Isner, Ryan Harrison, Christina McHale and Sloane Stephens.
