
The Drawing Room Art Gallery invites the public to meet the artists at the Opening Reception of “Michele Kishita + Eliza Stamps: Graphic Tales of Elegance,” on Saturday, April 2, 6 to 8 p.m. This is a two-person exhibition, focused on the graphically charged work of Michele Kishita and Eliza Stamps and their unique approaches to painting and drawing, respectively. This exhibition opens April 2 and runs through May 17.
Michele Kishita is a visual artist based in Philadelphia and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of the Arts.
Eliza is an artist who works and lives in Brooklyn, N.Y., and her practice ranges from drawing, sculpture and performance, all with an interest in facilitating experiences for the for the viewer that allow for introspection and discovery.
This event is free and open to the public.
The Drawing Room Art Gallery is located at 5 Suburban Avenue, Cos Cob, and is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on Sundays and Mondays.
