The Mary Bush Society of the Children of the American Revolution held a bake sale on Feb. 28 at Putnam Cottage. The Putnam Hill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution held their annual “Put’s Ride” complete with a Revolutionary War re-enactment of General Israel Putnam’s historic ride which also included tactical exercises and a military encampment. This is an annual event attended by many of all ages every February.

The funds raised will be used to support the various C.A.R. projects. Membership is available to children between the ages of 0 and 22 who have an ancestor who fought in the American Revolution.
