After a slow-paced first quarter, the Lady Cardinals got back into the game shooting 38.9% from the field in the half, compared to Stamford’s 32.1%.
Emily Anderson leads the Lady Cardinals with 4 points, while Abbie Wolf (Northwestern) has 2 points and four boards at the break. Sophomore Kim Kockenmeister hit the first three points of the match and is having a strong game off the glass with 8 rebounds so far to go with 3 points.
On the Stamford side, Tiana English (St. John’s) is just 1-8 from the field and has just 2 points to go with 3 assists. Alexa Keller leads all scorers with 7 points.
