Greenwich Chamber of Commerce is hosting its next “Women Who Matter Luncheon” at Milbrook Club on Thursday, March 17 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. This twice yearly luncheon celebrates women who make a difference and who have a real impact on the Greenwich community and beyond. Guest speaker is Karen Newman, author of Just Three Words—Athlete, Mother Survivor: How One Brave Woman, Against all Odd, Wins the Race of Her Life. Karen is a motivational speaker, world record breaking athlete and survivor of two life-threatening diseases. She will share her failures, success and lessons learned through her battles with bulimia and aggressive stage 3 breast cancer.
