YMCA Kicks off Centennial Celebration

The Greenwich YMCA is celebrating 100 years of service to the Greenwich community. On Thursday, February 18 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the YMCA will kick off a year long centennial celebration unveiling a photography collection. The Photography Archive Collection features images spanning 1914 to today.

The program includes a cocktail reception, oral history presentation by Karin Crooks, and Proclamation presented by First Selectman Peter Tesei.

For nearly a century, the YMCA of Greenwich has served as a valuable community center in the heart of town and enriches the lives of more than 5,000 people. The YMCA strives to strengthen the community by enabling people of all ages and abilities to lead healthier, more active and productive lives.
