Brunswick Squash a Perfect 5-0 This Season, Blanks Taft

The Brunswick School squash team moved to 5-0 on the season by sweeping Taft 7-0 on the road Wednesday.

In the 7-0 sweep, seniors Drew Monroe and Boden Polikoff improved to 5-0 on the season, while sophomores Will Holey and Patrick Feeley bumped their individual marks to 4-0.

Fellow sophomore Max Finkelstein stands at 3-0 after his win, as junior Tate Huffman owns a 4-1 mark. Brunswick’s number-one seed, David Yacobucci is now 3-2 on the season, after his victory.

Against Taft, Yacobucci took care of Ahmed Kiwan 3-0, while Monroe upended Kyle Salvatore 3-2. Taft’s Brandon Salvatore fell victim to Finklestein 3-0. At No. 4, Brunswick’s Feeley blasted Tristan Chaix 3-0.

Polikoff, Huffman and Will Holey each blanked Taft 3-0, as Polokoff beat Henry Tilghman, Huffman blanked Courtland Boyle and Holey took care of James Darling.

The Bruins return to action at home on Saturday, hosting Westminster and Avon Old Farms.
