Old Greenwich Elementary School held its Third Annual Trot for Turkeys on Nov. 20 after school.

Over 65 kids participated. Mr. Mickel led a talk about being grateful for what we have and needing to help other families this Thanksgiving.

Afterward he led a fun warm up and took the kids outside to the field where kids trotted and gobbled like turkeys. There were turkey cut outs for kids to leave notes to the families and big jar for donations.

The event raised over $300. The money will be donated to Greenwich Social Services.
