The Greenwich High School girls volleyball team faced a much-improved Fairfield Ludlowe squad from their previous meeting and were defeated 3-1 (20-25, 25-18, 16-25, 18-25) Tuesday night.
“Their serving gave us a ton of trouble,” Greenwich High School head coach Steve Lapham. “We weren’t passing too well and their blockers were a lot bigger and better than ours were today. They took a lot of balls and if they didn’t deflect them, they blocked them.”
With the loss, Big Red fell to 12-3 overall, while the Falcons improved to 12-3 on the season.
