LWVG Helps Coordinate Student-Run Debate for BOE Candidates

The League of Women Voters of Greenwich (LWVG) is helping to coordinate a student-run debate presented by Greenwich High School’s We The People team. Students will contact the candidates and compose and ask questions. Participating will be the six candidates running for the four BOE seats to be filled in Nov. 3s election:

Jennifer Dayton – Democratic Incumbent

Gaetane Francis – New Democratic Candidate

Anthony Lopez – New Democratic Candidate

Barbara O’Neill – Republican Incumbent

Peter von Braun – Republican Incumbent

Lauren Rabin – New Republican Candidate

The debate will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 9:45 to 11:30 a.m. in Greenwich High School’s new auditorium. Note that parking at the high school is extremely limited. Carpooling and parking in public space are recommended.
