YWCA Greenwich recently received a $10,000 gift from the Emily Catherine Fedorko Foundation to help fund new gymnastics equipment. Emily Fedorko, killed in a tragic boating accident last year, was a member of the 2013-14 Greenwich High School Gymnastics Team, which trains in the YWCA gymnasium.
Shown presenting a check to YWCA President and CEO Adrianne Singer (right) are Emily’s parents Pam and Joe Fedorko. “Many thanks to the Fedorkos for their wonderful generosity. Not only will their gift foster the memory of Emily, but young, high school gymnasts will benefit,” said Ms. Singer. YWCA Greenwich plans to put up a plaque celebrating the donation.
