Greenwich Recreation announces that registration for Fall Soccer is still open by mail only through Aug. 14.
In-person registration will be available starting Aug. 17, with a space available basis after August 21. Soccer sessions will be held on Saturdays from Sept. 5 through Oct. 31 at the Havemeyer fields located behind Town Hall.
Boys and girls ages three through 11 years are eligible to participate. Participants that are three through nine years of age will focus on the fundamentals of soccer, including passing, dribbling, trapping and shooting through practice and modified games.
Ages nine through 11 receive 30 minutes of technical training and one hour of scrimmaging.
Registration forms are available in the Recreation Office, located at Town Hall and online at Greenwichct.org click on Parks and Recreation and then youth programs under Recreation.
