Winter Walk: Identifying Trees Without Leaves

GLT is excited to partner with Greenwich Tree Conservancy and offer guests a chance to explore GLT’s brand new Converse Brook Preserve. On this guided forest walk, we will discuss ways to look closer at the diverse features of bark, branches, and buds to see a varied winter landscape. Sturdy, waterproof footwear along with warm clothes are recommended.
Please bring a mask, as all current distancing rules will be utilized for everyone’s safety. Please dress appropriately for an outdoor walk and don’t forget a water bottle!
Space is limited to 12 people and pre-registration is required.
Meeting Location: We will meet at GLT’s Mueller Preserve (370 Round Hill Road, Greenwich, CT 06831) and caravan to the Converse Brook Preserve parking area, so all guests can easily park in the same area.
