Trellis Talk and Demonstration with Sleepy Cat Farm

Alan Gorkin, estate manager and head gardener of Greenwich’s Sleepy Cat Farm, will demonstrate how to make a garden trellis, sharing tips and tricks with handouts for creating one at home. His talk will be followed by a discussion of best growing practices for several plants, trellis benefits, ideal combinations and growing hints. Participants will have the opportunity to choose from a collection of heirloom seeds and/or plants (vegetables and flowers) to use at home to create their own design.
