Tick Related Infections Seen in Connecticut

Join us for this special Women’s Health Initiative event, with guest speaker JAMES SABETTA, MD, Director of Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine, Greenwich Hospital.
Lyme disease is the most common of the tick-borne diseases, but it’s not the only one. In Connecticut, anaplasmosis and babesiosis infections are also being reported. Learn about the ticks that carry infection, how to recognize symptoms and what to do if you’ve been bitten by a tick or think you may have been infected.
