The Ladies of Byram Exhibit and Reception at the Byram Shubert Library

The Friends of the Byram Shubert Library invite everyone to a reception on Thursday, October 24 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. to celebrate Barbara Finn and the “Ladies of Byram”.
“The Ladies of Byram” is a current exhibit of interviews and photographic portraits of the “Share Your Story” program at the Byram Shubert Library. “Share Your Story” is a 12-year ongoing project of the Friends of the Byram Shubert Library featuring interviews and photographs of local residents. One of the 2024 interviewees, Barbara Finn, talked about the more than three decades she spent as a hairdresser in Byram, coiffing many of the women active in the life of the community who had been interviewed in the past and are now displayed in this exhibit.
A nostalgic addition to this free exhibit is the historic display by Heidi Hupal of photographs of hairstyles over the decades and Barbara’s salon equipment used to create these styles.
