“Thank A Cop Day” at Joey B’s

In collaboration with Greenwich Police, Joey B’s in Cos Cob will host “Thank a Cop Day” on Tuesday, September 27.  The event, which will run all day, from 6:00am until 8:00pm, will feature Officer Asphalt and his police cruiser. A large banner and magic markers will hang outside the restaurant for residents to share their messages of thanks.  Greenwich Police Explorers will distribute lengths of blue ribbon that residents can take home to wrap around trees and tie in a bow to spread the message across town.  Kids will receive blue lollipops and first responders can have one of Joey B’s famous hot dogs compliments of Mr. Delfino.  While the event is not a fundraiser, there will be a donation can for the Greenwich Police Scholarship Fund.
