Spring Walk: Pondering Ponds

Join Greenwich Land Trust’s Conservation Educator, Dean Fausel for a short walk around two ponds of the Old Stone Bridge Preserve. Participants will sample water for signs of amphibian, fish, and insect life and learn about the vital habitat and ecological services provided by the ponds of Greenwich. There will also be a red-tailed hawk release by our friends at Wildlife in Crisis.
Appropriate for all ages. Waterproof shoes recommended. $5 materials fee per family to be paid on-site.
Roadside parking between 15 and 33 Old Stone Bridge Road, Cos Cob. Pre-registration required, RSVP to sophie@gltrust.org.
