SPLURGE Hosts Food Drive

Through November 20th, SPLURGE is collecting food for The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County. The most needed food items are: Canned Tuna or Chicken, Progresso Soups, White or Brown Rice (2 lb Bags), Grape Jelly, Peanut Butter, Powdered Milk / Parmalat Milk, Breakfast Cereals, Juices (Bottled or Boxed), Pasta, Jar Spaghetti Sauce, Dried Beans, Fruit Cocktail, Mashed Potatoes and Macaroni & Cheese. Malloy said “Typically at this time of year the Food Bank receives a lot of food from corporate food drives, but with many employees working from home, there is a concern that food donations may be lower than in past years. When we heard this, we wanted to help!” Food may be dropped off at SPLURGE at 39 Lewis Street until Friday, November 20th.
