The film uses time-lapse cinematography to reveal the intricate underground world of mycelium and aims to shift viewers’ perspectives on the power and intelligence of fungi.
The film showcases the crucial, often overlooked role of fungal networks in sustaining life on Earth, highlighting their potential for medicinal, mental, and environmental benefits, including healing trauma, fighting cancer, and regenerating ecosystems.
