Roadmap to Retirement Planning – Annuities Workshop @ Greenwich Library

Workshop 2: Besides social Security, 401k, IRA/Roth IRA and pension plans, annuities can be used as part of a retirement strategy. This workshop will explain different types of annuities (fixed, variable, indexed, immediate, deferred) and their respective features including advantages and disadvantages, investment and payout options, and tax implications from qualified or non-qualified annuities. We will also illustrate potential investment risks of annuity products and the suitability of investing in various annuities. The workshop will conclude with a list of major providers of annuities and their respective market shares in different annuity products.
