As summer approaches, many students experience a dip in motivation, structure, and performance—a phenomenon known as the “Summer Slump.”

Join us on Thursday, June 12 at 6:00 p.m. at the YMCA of Greenwich for a special, free workshop led by Founder and Program Director of SuperPower Mentors, Jake Sussman, designed to help parents better understand this seasonal challenge and learn practical strategies to support their child’s mental resilience, set goals, and grow sustained progress throughout the summer months.

What is SuperPower Mentors?
SuperPower Mentors empower neurodiverse youth to confidently succeed by embracing their unique strengths rather than trying to “fix” them. The program pairs each mentee with a neurodiverse mentor—an “older version” of themselves—who truly understands their journey.

Why does this matter?
Students with learning differences are 3x more likely to drop out of college than their neurotypical peers. SuperPower Mentors promote self-advocacy, accountability, and real-world problem-solving techniques.
