Opening Reception for ‘Vietnam: Tradition Upended’ at the Flinn Gallery

The Flinn Gallery is excited to kick off its 2025-2026 season with an opening reception for ‘Vietnam: Tradition Upended’ on Thursday, September 18th, from 6 – 8pm. The exhibition, held in collaboration with Art Vietnam Gallery of Hanoi, features the work of nine interdisciplinary artists who work in a variety of mediums and styles. The artists take time-honored traditions and materials and rework them in a modern context, acknowledging the past while simultaneously breaking away. ‘Vietnam: Tradition Upended’ runs from September 18th to November 12th, and is curated by Debra Fram (Flinn Gallery), Barbara Richards (Flinn Gallery) and Suzanne Lecht (Art Vietnam Gallery, Hanoi).
