Opening Reception for Mapping the Invisible at the Flinn Gallery

The Flinn Gallery is excited to host the opening reception for Mapping the Invisible on Thursday, May 2nd, from 6 – 8pm. The show features the work of artists Laura Battle, Jaq Belcher and Amy Myers. All three artists are inspired by engagement with the wonders and mysteries found in concepts of mathematics and scientific theory. Their use of geometry and repetitive mark-making in divergent mediums result in varied and intriguing explorations of universal energetic patterns, both visible and imagined. Mapping the Invisible runs from May 2nd to June 19th, and is curated by Francine Langford and Caren Winnall.
