The Show Must Go On!
The Off-Beat Players has taken rehearsals and performances digitally to protect the health and safety of our performers, crew and loyal patrons. Join us from the comfort of your home for a three-performance event!
Premiering July 31st: A Rogers and Hammerstein Concert. Hit songs from Cinderella, The Sound of Music, The King and I, South Pacific and more.
Premiering August 7th: Charlotte’s Web. Based on the book by E. B. White and adapted by Joseph Robinette. The story you love about that “terrific, radiant, and humble” pig is brought to life. Revisit this beloved tale or introduce it to a new generation. Produced by special arrangement with the Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Illinois.
Premiering August 14th: The Off-Beat Players Variety Show. See the amazing talents of our performers singing hit Broadway songs, performing sketch comedy, and presenting original pieces of theatre written and performed by our cast members.
Based in Greenwich, CT, Off-Beat Players currently includes approximately 40 teens and young adults who come together each summer to produce a fully-staged musical with a live orchestra. Due to Covid-19, this year’s format will be digital with 3 performances. Established in 2007, the group is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit charitable and educational organization.
