“Near and Far: Inspiration through my Lens” – Opening Reception

The Bendheim Gallery is hosting an opening reception for “Near and Far: Inspiration through my Lens,” an exhibit of the works of thirty-five members of the Stamford Photography Club.
The photographers in the show chose the title because they feel they are at a point where they are constantly seeing and composing photographs in their mind or with their camera, whether it’s while traveling in an exotic foreign country or sitting in their backyard. Seventy-one works in both black and white and color have been chosen for the exhibition, depicting a great variety of subject matter, both natural and abstract.
The photographs are for sale and proceeds will go to the Greenwich Arts Council.
The exhibit runs through Jan. 11, 2017. Gallery Hours: Tues.-Fri. 10-4pm; Sat. Sun. Noon-4pm. Closed Monday.
