Party with a Purpose Raises Funds for Swim Across America – Fairfield County and Cancer Research
Get ready for the best. party. ever. as the dynamic duo MOJO hits the stage at Bosco’s Bar & Grill in Old Greenwich on Friday, June 6, from 9 p.m. to midnight, for a high-energy fundraising event to benefit Swim Across America – Fairfield County, to make (music) waves to fight cancer. Anyone can join in the fun! There will be music, dancing, singing, great food, drinks and fun raffle prizes. Bosco‘s Bar & Grill is located at 148 Sound Beach Ave, Old Greenwich, Connecticut. In addition to live and online donation opportunities, event attendees can buy song requests, birthday wishes and shout-outs, in advance through MOJO‘s request form at app.nosongrequests.com/MojoGreenwich.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Swim Across America – Fairfield County’s 19th annual open water swim on June 21 at Dolphin Cove in Stamford, Connecticut, where hundreds of swimmers will dive in to raise funds for the Swim‘s local beneficiary Alliance for Cancer Gene Therapy, based in Stamford. Throughout the past 19 years, Swim Across America – Fairfield County has raised more than $7.4 million for cancer research.
MOJO, named Best Live Music for Events by Vivant Magazine in 2024, has performed at nearly every elite venue in the region. Their fusion of musical talent and party-staring prowess makes them a favorite among event planners—and a guaranteed good time.
Bosco’s Bar & Grill is owned and operated by John Bosco and David Corbo, who also own Corbo’s Deli in Greenwich and Stamford, and run the Clubhouse at the Griff golf course in northern Greenwich and Harbor Point Pizza in Stamford. The two got their start at a previous restaurant at the same location of Bosco’s Bar & Grill close to 30 years ago and have worked together ever since.
