Anne Guilhuly brings to life Michel de Montaigne, who was a famous sixteenth century French philosopher, author and statesman. His works were extremely influential, impacting Descartes, Rousseau, Pascal, Nietzsche, Emerson and possibly the later works of Shakespeare, among others.
