for high school juniors and seniors and their families
Members of Greenwich High School’s Rowan Center Student Advisory Board, in partnership with The Rowan Center and Greenwich Library, have organized a panel on college safety designed for current high school juniors and seniors and their families. Experts will present current data and real-world advice for both students and parents regarding college life and personal safety. The session will help facilitate open dialogue at home and among friends before students leave for college, and during their time away.
The second annual “Learn Before You Leave” will take place on Wednesday, April 9, 7-8 pm, at the Greenwich Library’s Marx Family Black Box Theater. Space is limited and advance registration is required.
The panel will feature:
Ellen Brezovsky, LCSW, Director of Outreach & Community Initiatives, Kids In Crisis
Gary MacNamara, Chief/Executive Director of Public Safety & Government Affairs, Sacred Heart University
Sarah Malhotra, Director of Education and Training, The Rowan Center
Colleen Sherry, Chief of Medical Operations, Fordham EMS.
