Join this second stop in the pilgrimage across sacred spaces of Greenwich, CT! First Church of Round Hill will open its doors and host a sacred space visit on Sunday, April 12th, 2:00-4:30 pm!
First Church of Round Hill is a United Methodist Church founded in 1810. The program will offer a variety of features including:
— Insights into the history and architecture of the Methodist Church and what makes the Methodist denomination unique
— Highlights of this particular sacred space and its community history
— A visual tour of its “one room church design”, rooted in its long history in the community
— Musical demonstrations
— Q&A time
— and gathering over light refreshments, including reflections and glimpses into our understandings of sacred space, similar and unique
All are welcome! You don’t need to be part of a religious community to join this event. We hope that anyone who is interested in learning in an interfaith setting will come.
The event is free but RSVP is required.
