Invertebrates: No Backbone, No Problem!

Join the Friends of Greenwich Point and the Stamford Museum & Nature Center as they delve into the world of the invertebrates – the animals without backbones! Although it’s tempting to call anything that creeps and crawls a “bug”, we’ll meet plenty of invertebrates besides insects.  Invertebrates that hiss, burrow, climb, sting, and more will all make an appearance, along with some furred predators that may see them as a tasty snack.
Live animals and a fun activity will be featured in this family-friendly program.  Daring participants will have an opportunity to handle some of the animals! The extra daring may even opt to sample some edible insects…
