The J House Greenwich will host an art event on September 16 with renowned artist Robert Abriola, who has designed celebrated album covers for artists like Paul McCartney and Joan Baez.
Intersections is an exhibition that highlights Abriola’s latest works, which bring to life his visions and collaborations from his music-industry experiences. Each music icon piece is a one-of-a-kind creation, beginning with a hand-made wood panel developed with multiple layers of image art, acrylic and metallic paint, acrylic poly, diamond dust, and glitter.
Abriola, a classically trained artist, built a distinguished career as a designer and art director for various agencies in New York City and Connecticut. Abriola made significant contributions to the music industry, having served as the former Creative Director at EMI Music North America. During his tenure, Abriola created award-winning album cover art for an impressive roster of artists, including The Kinks, Alice Cooper, Liza Minnelli, and Bernadette Peters.
