International Book Club @ Byram Shubert Library-This Month: The Pen and The Brush

This month’s book is “The Pen and the Brush” by Anka Muhlstein.  A scintillating glimpse into the lives of acclaimed writers and artists and their inspiring, often surprising convergences. The book focuses on several late 19th and early 20th-century writers-Balzac, Zola, Proust, Maupassant-through the lens of their passionate involvement with the fine arts.
Author Anka Muhlstein will be at the Byram Shubert Library talking about the book on Thursday, March 23 at 7:00 pm.
