“Interfaith Conversations” Teaches a Workshop on the Intricacies of a Passover Seder
April 3, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
In response to a growing number of interfaith families, Jewish Family Services of Greenwich in cooperation with Congregation Shir Ami, Greenwich Reform Synagogue, PJ Library, and Temple Sholom, are sponsoring a workshop entitled, “Seder Survival Guide” to be held in the second floor conference room of the Greenwich Library on Monday, April 3rd from 7:00pm – 8:30pm.
This program is for people raising children in an interfaith family and wondering….
How can I make a Passover Seder when I didn’t grow up with one?
How can I teach my kids about Passover when I didn’t celebrate it?
You can do it and here’s how!
The Seder Survival Guide is an engaging 90-minute interactive program which guides families in holding a Passover Seder (the ritual meal). It will prepare mothers of other backgrounds, and other interested family members, in how to celebrate Passover in their homes and how to engage children at the Seder. Participants will explore the meaning behind each item on the Seder plate, examine the Haggadah (the written guide to the meal), and learn fun activities to make your Seder legendary!
THIS PROGRAM IS FREE OF CHARGE
