History of the 50's and 60's Through Popular Songs, with Marc Black

The Friends and Staff of Cos Cob Library invite one and all to a sing-along with New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee, Marc Black. Sing along with songs as diverse as Itsy Bitsy, Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka-Dot Bikini and Blowin’ in the Wind. Enjoy songs by artists ranging from Dean Martin to George Harrison. In addition to the music and discussion, this popular program features a slide show sure to take you back in time. Marc will also perform his own group’s top forty hit from 1967- “Happy” by the Blades of Grass.  Come enjoy a trip down memory lane!
