Mark Schenker of Yale College presents a three-part series on Emily St John Mandel’s Station ElevenRomeo and Juliet, and The Tempest.

Station Eleven, this year’s Greenwich Reads Together selection, is a science fiction novel that examines the relation between culture and community, and between the art of survival and the survival of art — whether that of Shakespeare’s plays or of comic books.
