GRT: How-To Tuesday / Create@GreenwichLibrary – Emergency Shelter

October 18, 2016 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

At the Greenwich Library Meeting Room
Registration is open
How-To Challenge: This month we challenge you to create an emergency shelter that is quick to build, will not fall down easily, and can fit you inside. You will be equipped with only a few supplies, so creative thinking is a must! This is a skill that the characters in the books City of Ember and Station Eleven needed to survive in their post-apocalyptic worlds.
This free program is recommended for grades 6 through 8. How-To Tuesday meets the third Tuesday of every month at Greenwich Library. Each month we will explore a different STEAM topic with a hands-on activity! This program is part of Create@GreenwichLibrary, a series designed to foster creative and collaborative learning for all ages.
Age Group: Recommended for Grades 6-8
Info/ To Register: Siobhan Schugmann (203) 625 – 6536  sschugmann@greenwichlibrary.org
