Greenwich Softball to Host Danbury High at 4

The sun is finally supposed to peek through the clouds, so why not get outside and cheer on the Greenwich High School softball team as they battled FCIAC foe Danbury High School. The Lady Cardinals are currently on a two-game winning streak, as they beat Bridgeport Central 9-7 back on Wednesday and then a day later took on Trinity Catholic High School and came away with the wild 19-17 victory. Against the Crusaders, Julie Gambino finished 3-for-5 with five RBIs. She also pitched and netted six strikeouts. Katelyn Burhans took home a 3-for-5 day with three runs batted in, while Julia Greco was 3-for-6 with three RBIs.
