Greenwich Hosting Major National Field Hockey Qualifier

For the first time in Connecticut field hockey history, the state will host a major national qualifier for Team USA Field Hockey, a path to the Olympics. The tournament will be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 3-4 at Sacred Heart Greenwich, 1177 King Street, Greenwich (www.cshgreenwich.org).
The public is invited to attend.
The tournament will take place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sacred Heart Greenwich’s turf fields at 1177 King Street, in Greenwich.
A total of 16 teams will by vying to qualify, with more than 250 field hockey players
ranging in age from 16 to 19 years old. The teams will be traveling from all over the Northeast and New York to compete in the two-day Team USA event.
