Greenwich Hospital's ‘Teddy Bear Clinic’

The mini-hospital under the tents is a great way for children ages three to 12 to meet doctors, nurses and hospital staff to become acquainted with the friendly faces of medicine. Children are encouraged to bring a favorite stuffed animal or doll for an exam. Depending on the diagnosis, dolls, bears and other fuzzy patients may receive X-rays, surgery, stitches or splints. Inquisitive kids will have lots of time to ask questions and chat with healthcare professionals about a wide range of medical subjects and careers. They can tour an ambulance, too!
The free event will take place rain or shine.
Free parking is available in the hospital’s staff lot on Lake Avenue.
