Greenwich Girls Lacrosse to Battle Warde in CIAC Class L Semis

The Greenwich High School girls lacrosse team has had yet another season to remember and are looking to keep the good times rolling today at 5. Big Red is in the CIAC class L semifinals and will play fellow FCIAC foe Fairfield Warde High School for the right to play in the class L finals that get underway Saturday at Jonathan Law High School. Despite both the Cards and Mustangs playing in the FCIAC, they have not played each other this season. Greenwich enters the game with a regular season record of 11-5, while Fairfield Warde posted an 11-4-1 regular season tally. A fun side note, all four teams in the today’s class L semis are quite familiar with each other, as Darien, Wilton, Warde and Greenwich all compete in the FCIAC.
