Greenwich Girls Hoopsters to Compete at CIAC Class LL Finals

This is a trip that is well worth the time in the vehicle. Today at 12:30, the Greenwich High School girls basketball team will compete in the CIAC class LL championship at Mohegan Sun against Stamford High School. This is Big Red’s first ever appearance in the state championship game and will be looking for its fans to make the trip up to the Mohegan Sun Arena. This will be the final basketball game for seniors Caroline Beneville and Abbie Wolf, as both have done a tremendous job transforming the program from a state tournament hopeful to a state tournament finalist.
